I use Ubuntu 12.10, Bumblebee 3.0 and Openbox but I have a tearing issue when I play video files. ( for example an avi or mkv file in vlc) When I do optirun nvidia-settings -c :8 , then I do not have the X Server XVideo Setting: Sync to VBlank Here's a screenshot:
http://ompldr.org/vZzF4MQ As you can see on the screenshot my screen dimensions are also not right. They are 1024x768 but they should be 1366x768. In Untity I had tearing at the top of the laptop screen, but I could do "Force full screen redraw (buffer swap) on repaint" in the compiz configuration manager to fix this tearing. Now I don't have compiz so I don't know how to fix this. Any help is appreciated!
