ik heb mijn laptop opnieuw geinstaleerd om de partitie indeling te veranderen.
ik heb toen PCBSD geinstaleerd, omdat ik weet dat hij die niet uit zich zelf vind heb ik zelf de entry gemaakt.
echter in het menu tijdens het starten zie ik heb niet.
maar, hij zit wel in /boot/grub/grub.cfg:
root@FoxesLair:~# grep menuentry /boot/grub/grub.cfg
menuentry 'Ubuntu, met Linux 2.6.32-22-generic' --class ubuntu --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os {
menuentry 'Ubuntu, met Linux 2.6.32-21-generic' --class ubuntu --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os {
menuentry "Memory test (memtest86+)" {
menuentry "Memory test (memtest86+, serial console 115200)" {
menuentry "PCBSD (FreeBSD) 8.0" {
root@FoxesLair:~#
maar hij komt er toch niet bij.
in /etc/grub.d/40_custom heb ik dit:
#!/bin/sh
exec tail -n +3 $0
# This file provides an easy way to add custom menu entries. Simply type the
# menu entries you want to add after this comment. Be careful not to change
# the 'exec tail' line above.
menuentry "PCBSD (FreeBSD) 8.0" {
insmod ufs2
set root=(hd0,3)
kfreebsd /boot/kernel/kernel
set kFreeBSD.vfs.root.mountfrom=ufs:dev/label/rootfs0
set kFreeBSD.vfs.root.mountfrom.options=rw
}
iemand een idee waarom ik hem niet te zien krijg terwijl hij wel in het bestand komt
