Hoi,
Ik ben bezig mijn 2600xt werkende te krijgen in ubuntu, en het wil nog niet echt lukken.
Ik kom nog niet hoger dan 800*600 pixels met vesa-driver.
Ik heb deze how-to gevolgd:
http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Gutsy_Installation_Guide#Enable_.22restricted.22_RepositoryDaarbij methode 2, manually, omdat de restricted driver-manager zei dat er geen drivers nodig zijn.
Op het eind moet je daar dit commando uitvoeren:
$ fglrxinfo
display: :0.0 screen: 0

OpenGL renderer string: ATI Radeon Xpress Series
OpenGL version string: 2.1.7412 ReleaseEn dat ziet er bij mij zo uit:
$ fglrxinfo
