[Opgelost] ekiga enable port forwarding manually

Heb in mijn Precise (12.04) Ekiga geïnstalleerd, maar na al het inloggen krijg ik bij opnieuw opstarten een fout met de mededeling "ekiga enable port forwarding manually", zoek dit al na, maar kan niet in mijn router komen met 192.168.1.1, heb een Arcadyan VGV7519, ook bekend als Experia Box V8.
Hoe kan ik dit verhelpen, zodat ik Ekiga evt. opnieuw kan configureren, dat het proggie niet direct zichzelf door die fout uitschakelt?
Leuke syntaxes hiervoor wellicht?

Heb de oplossing al gevonden, probleem verholpen.

apt-get purge won't get rid of local configuration files.
ekiga creates files in your home directory, under ./.gconf/apps/ekiga

You'll have to delete that entire directory with rm -rf ~/.gconf/apps/ekiga

Applications frequently use .gconf, .gnome*, .config and .local for various settings and cache information, so those are good places to check in general.

If you're not finding more pieces of ekiga, try running sudo updatedb and when that finishes, try locate ekiga . You might find something you've missed.

From the additional items, you've added, I don't see any problems. If you really wanted to you could delete some of those items with something like sudo rm /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga/script.pyc . I wouldn't expect these to make a difference, unless you're using orca.

If you've deleted that entire directory, try using the sudo updatedb and locate method for another try. –  belacqua Sep 11 '11 at 5:13
   
   
using locate found:/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga/__init__.py /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga/__init__.py /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga/script.pyc /usr/share/app-install/desktop/ekiga.desktop /usr/share/pyshared/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga/__init__.py /usr/share/pyshared/orca/scripts/apps/ekiga/script.py and others but they are just icons. Those likely aren't causing issues, but you should be able to delete them with sudo rm . –  belacqua Sep 12 '11 at 2:43

Hopelijk hebben anderen ook hier wat aan, die met Ekiga werken en een dergelijk probleem tegenkomen. En natuurlijk alles weer opnieuw installeren en aanvullen.
