Asus pro50(F5RL) laptop draadloos problem HELP

Hallo allemaal,

ik word er helemaal knettergek van bij 8.04 moest ik altijd het knopje van me wireless handmatig uit en aan doen voordat het werkte irritant maar was te doen. nu bij 8.10 heb ik madwifi geinstalleerd precies hetzelfde bij 8.04 knopje uit en aan doen lampje brand nog geen seconde en gaat weer uit bij 8.10. heb ook alles weer verwijderd van madwifi en de backports geinstallleerd en daarna die nieuwe driver die je dan krijgt ook geinstalleerd precies hetzelfde knopje uit en aan lampje brand nog geen seconde en gaat weer uit. in de networkmanager zie ik wel wlan0 staan maar niet mijn draadloze router helemaal niks zie ik. Iemand meer problemen mee? pls help me ben radeloos op dit moment alles geprobeerd

P.s. mijn bluetooth ledje brand ook ??? wat heel raar is want heb geen bluetooth chipset in mijn laptop dat lampje brand pas als ik een externe bluetooth stick erin doe. dit probleem heb ik vanaf 8.04

Zeg eerst eens wat voor kaartje er in de laptop zit.

Als ge niet zeker zijt, open eens de terminal en typ:
lspci | grep Network

kan ik ook zien welke drivers er allemaal geladen worden in ubuntu misschien kan ik dan de "bluetooth" uitzetten die er niet inzit?

Zet bluetooth uit bij systeem=>voorkeuren=>sessies, dan word het niet meer opgestart.

Met die adapter kan ik u wel niet meer verder helpen. Misschien iemand die dezelfde heeft?

Ja klopt wat je zegt dat zeiden ze toen bij 8.04 ook al maar heeft helaas niet geholpen maar bedankt voor de tip. Als ik iwconfig in de terminal tik krijg ik dit te zien:

Misschien dat jullie hier iets aan hebben helemaal onderaan zie je iets dat bluetooth geladen word volgens mij en de atheros staat er iets boven hopelijk word iemand hier wijzer uit:

power management heb ik weer aan gekregen maar lijkt wel of er fysiek geen stroom op komt door 8.10 mijn schakelaar werkt blijkbaar niet.

ik word echt hopeloos hier heel google al afgestruimd en niemand met een antwoord der moeten toch meer mensen zijn met dit probleem?? bij 8.04 werkte alles goed moest alleent wel elke keer weer handmatig de schakelaar om doen maar dan werkt me draadloos weer.

Niet slecht bedoeld voor de ubuntu mensen. maar sinds 8.04 is ubuntu voor mijn laptop alleent maar slechter geworden. bij 7.10 draaide alles als een zonnetje.

Maar kan iemand mij asjeblieft helpen ^-^?
