maar even een nieuw lijntje ivm dit probleem. Ik heb FF nu als sudo gestart en dan chrashed hij ook. De foutmelding in het terminalvenster is daarna: De site die ik probeer te openen is www.schaart,nl maar hij crashed bij de helft van alle sites.

Welke versie van Ubuntu draai je? (6.06 Dapper Drake, 6.10 Edgy...)
Komt de crash voor direct na het openen van die website? En zijn het altijd dezelfde websites waarbij het probleem zich voordoet?
Indien je Ubuntu 6.06 draait, gebruik je AIGLX? (als je niet weet wat het is, dan zal dat niet zo zijn)

Volgens mij ligt het probleem aan Flash op bepaalde websites. Meer bepaald bij AIGLX + 16bit kleurendiepte + Flash. Zou dit kunnen? (AIGLX is standaard ingeschakeld in 6.10 Edgy Eft)

kleurendiepte kan je controleren met het commando:
grep DefaultDepth /etc/X11/xorg.conf
