5-in-1 kaartlezer werkt niet

Hallo,

de 5-in-1 kaartlezer van mijn laptop werkt niet. Op Vista doet ie t perfect maar onder Ubuntu 8.04 doet ie helemaal niks. Het lichtje gaat niet branden en hij leest niks. Weet iemand wat ik hieraan kan doen?

Mijn laptop is een Compaq Presario v6640ED

Waarschijnlijk een chip van Texas Instruments die dat aanstuurt. Daar is volgens mij nog geen goede driver voor. Je hebt trouwens kans dat een standaard SD-kaart het wel doet, want die is al het verst ontwikkelt. Maar als je zoals ik een Memory Stick van Sony in je camera hebt, dan heb je pech (nou ja, voorlopig).

Ik heb het geprobeerd met een Micro SD. Maar de chip is niet van Texas Instruments.

Edit: De Micro SD doet het ineens wel, maar andere kaartjes pakt ie nog steeds niet.

Ik las in een ander topic het volgende:

Ingebouwde kaartlezer die niet werkt: ik ben op de hoogte van een kleine bug
waardoor een aantal bekende kaartlezers niet standaard werkt. 1 lijn toevoegen
aan een tekstbestand herstelt dit probleem echter. Maar dan moet u wel weten
wat voor ingebouwde kaartlezer het precies is...
Kan iemand mij uitleggen welk bestandje het is en wat ik moet toevoegen?

Wat is de output van "lspci -vv" ?
Ik heb in ieder geval dezelfde kaartlezer als jou in mijn laptop!
En.. bij mij werkt hij prima! Ik heb daar niets voor hoeven te doen.
Met wat voor kaartjes heb je de kaartlezer getest?
Ik met SD-kaartjes, en SDHC-kaartjes. Iets anders heb ik niet.

Ik heb hem getest met SD-kaartjes, Micro-SD-kaartjes en Memory Stick Duo van Sony. Het enige kaartje wat werkt is de Micro-SD. De andere 2 niet.


5-in-1 kaartlezer werkt niet
