nvidia driver installatie met een LED TV scherm

Mijne dames en heren,

Het lukt mij maar niet om mijn nieuwe TV scherm aan de praat te krijgen in de goede resolutie.
Heb het volgende meerdere keren geprobeerd:
rm xorg.conf
sudo nvidia-config
sudo nvidia-settings

Bij het laatste commando krijg ik onderstaande meldingen!

Je kan proberen om die configuratiebestanden te verwijderen.
Blijkbaar staat er iets in wat niet helemaal goed is.

Dat doe je met deze commando's

sudo rm /home/tv/.nvidia-settings-rc
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Hierna wel even opnieuw opstarten of even uit- en inloggen.

Bedankt voor je advies. Heb je commando's gebruikt, maar deze werkten niet direct.
Ik heb meerdere keren het stuurprogramma gewisseld en de xorg.conf verwijderd.
Op eens doet het scherm het weer. Zelfs weer via mijn hdmi verbinding.
De VGA verbinding doet het nu niet meer
Maar ja HDMI geeft in ieder geval beter beeld.
