Kan synaptic niet openen

Hallo,
 ik krijg deze foutmelding wanneer ik synaptic wil openen.
Ik heb geprobeerd codecs te downloaden om .wmv filmpjes zonder knipperen af te spelen met Totem daar zal het wel door komen.

E: Type 'E: Kan de lijst van bronnen niet inlezen.
Ga naar de broninstellingen om het probleem te verhelpen.

Hoe los ik dit op?

Er zit een fout in de bronnenlijst. Kun je het volgende commando in het terminalvenster uitvoeren en de inhoud op het forum  plakken. Het Terminal venster op je met Toepassingen > Hulpmiddelen > Terminal venster

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Sorry, maar ik had niet goed gelezen in je eerste mailtje. Ik heb je het verkeerde bestand laten opnenen. Zou je het nog een keertje willen proberen met onderstaande commando in het terminal venster?

het is een onbruikbare edgy respos. in een verder gutsy lijstje.
je kunt de gutsy medibuntu repos gewoon toevoegen aan je andere bronnen.
Voeg de benodigde pakketbron toe aan uw bronnenlijst, met het kladblokje Gedit. In de terminal:

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Druk op Enter.

Nu opent zich het kladblokje Gedit, met een tekstbestand. Aan het eind van de tekst in dat tekstbestand, kopieer en plak:

deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ gutsy free non-free

Sla het tekstbestand op en verlaat het kladblokje Gedit.

3. Voeg de sleutel toe om deze pakketbron zonder problemen te kunnen gebruiken. Kopieer en plak in de terminal:

wget -q http://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -

de onjuiste kun je volgens mij deleten.

Hoe doe ik dat: de onjuiste deleten?

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/edgy-medibuntu.list

dit zou het moeten doen...of typ gksudo nautilus en ga naar de map /etc/apt/sources.list.d en verwijder de file edgy-medibuntu.list
