plop uit luidspreker

Hallo,

Sinds ik Ubuntu heb geinstalleerd valt het me op dat ik om de haverklap een plop uit mijn luidspreker hoor. Onder Windows XP had ik dat nooit. Waar ligt dat aan? Ik heb Ubuntu 10.04.3. Iedereen alvast bedankt voor de hulp!

Dat komt mogelijk doordat de geluidschip uitgezet wordt als die even niets te doen heeft. De reden: stroombesparing.

Dit kan je oplossen door /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf aan te passen.
Zoek de volgende regel op:

options snd-hda-intel power_save=0 power_save_controller=N
(Ik zit nog op Ubuntu 10.04, dus als jij een nieuwere versie gebruikt kan die regel er iets anders uitzien)
