Driver draadloze netwerkkaart voor ubuntu

Ik heb een Toshiba l500D en ben op zoek naar de draadloze netwerkkaart driver.

Misschien hier eens gaan zien rechts onder drivers, wel scrollen naar de Linux-versies.

Oke gedaan, ik heb de drivers van LINUX driver for kernel 2.6.X and 2.4.X (Support x86 and x64) gedownload. En nu?

Hoe krijg ik ze nu geinstalleerd. Het is geen uitvoer bestand die je eventjes installeerd.

Heb het via deze link geinstalleerd. Hij maakt verbinding, maar is ontzettend traag, het duurt een half uur om verbinding te maken. En hij valt daarna uit. Enig idee hoe dit kan.

In ieder geval bedankt voor de link.

Heb je de juiste versie (32/64 bit) gebruikt?

These are not the best drivers ever written and may exhibit problems (such as dropouts) from time to time. If you are having issues you may like to periodically check if newer drivers have been released and install those.

For Realtek 8172 owners, while this guide talk about using the 8192se driver it works for the 8172 as well.

Misschien is het beter om een tijdje terug te gaan naar 9.04 of 8.04 LTS (Long Term Support). Omdat schijnbaar deze problemen zich voordoen in de versie 9.10
