Hoi,
Onlangs heb ik me aangemeld bij een VPN service, namelijk bij privatevpn.com.
Er zijn vier stappen nodig om hun programma te installeren, maar het is me nog niet gelukt.
(ze kunnen helpen via teamviewer, maar de pc is erg oud/traag, en ik wil het ook nog kunnen herhalen na een schone installatie
stap 1: For the installation to work, you should have openvpn and curl installed. Ubuntu / Debian Open a terminal and type "sudo apt-get install openvpn curl" (gelukt)
stap 2: Download the installation file privatvpn.tar.bz2 (gelukt en op bureau blad geplaatst)
stap 3: Extract it with "tar -xjf privatvpn.tar.bz2" ( ik staar hierna al enige tijd, handen in het haar ) wat moet ik hier doen, waar naar toe (folder naam) moet dit ge-extract worden ? )
stap 4: To start the installation, run the file ./install.sh and follow the instructions. (heb ik gedaan, run in terminal. Vraagt om username/password vpn service maar er gebeurd verder niets. ip is hetzelfde)
For the installation to work, you must run it as root, you must also be root to run openvpn, this is because openvpn will create a tunnel interface when connecting.
stap 5: Edit /etc/privatvpn.conf and change the server you want to connect to. You'll find the server list here: Server list
Er is geen folder privatevpn in de map /etc (alleen een map: openvpn, maar dat is dus niet de juiste)
Is er hier iemand die dit ook gebruikt, en hiermee kan helpen? bvd
