Windows Vista Start niet meer op

ik heb ubuntu 8.10 geinstalleerd en nu start vista niet meer op. Hij staat wel nog in de bootloader maar als ik die aanclick krijg ik dit te zien. ¨Bootmgr is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart¨
Als iemand hier raad mee weet a.u.b. help me ik heb het nodig voor mijn werk.

Mogen wij wat meer informatie? HDD informatie (in de terminal de output van df), systeem informatie?

Welke How To heb je gevolgt om Ubuntu naast vista te zetten ??
Het vergt een paar andere stapjes namelijk.

En zo op het eerste gezicht denk ik dat er iets fout staat in je menu.lst
Dus start eens op in Ubuntu en typ of copy dan in terminal:

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst<-- l is de kleine letter L

En zet die eens hier neer misschien maakt dat wat duidelijker waarom vista niet opstart.

Dit krijg ik maar ik denk ook niet dat het probleem bij grub ligt maar bij het boot menu van windows misschien .
