Standaard zit het Engelstalig in Synaptic, maar ik wil GnuCash graag gebruiken in het Nederlands in Dapper, maar het lukt me niet.
www.livre.nl zegt: "Je kunt het programma in het Nederlands draaien door eerst LANG=nl_NL in te typen, en daarna GnuCash te starten."
Ik type dat in de terminal maar dat lukt niet.
de Faq zegt:
You have to set: "env LANGUAGE=fr_FR" and "env LANG=fr_FR". This example is for french (français) and then launch GnuCash.
Ik type in de terminal:
env LANGUAGE=nl_NL
en vervolgens
env LANG=nl_NL
Maar ook dat lukt niet.
En dit gaat mijn onervarenheid net iets te ver:
For Debian users: make sure your locales are properly installed. If not, run 'dpkg-reconfigure locales'. Note that the default desktop manager for Debian is GDM which does NOT read the .xsession files. To get the right language using GDM, use the Options button on the GDM login screen and set the default language. (The list includes all those languages supported by locales). When you login, confirm that the new language is to be the default for future sessions.
Volgens 'systeem'-->'beheer'-->'language support' staat de default language op 'Dutch (Belgium)'
