ik heb een probleempje, wil iets instaleren maar krijg het volgende te zien als ik synaptic pakketbeheer open...
E: Misvormde regel 1 in bronlijst /etc/apt/sources.list (URI)
E: Kan de lijst van bronnen niet inlezen.
Ga naar de broninstellingen om het probleem te verhelpen.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Weet iemand wat ik verkeerd gedaan heb en hoe ik 't kan oplossen?

laat even je sources.list bekijken.
gedit /etc/apt/sources.list  in de terminal typen====>enter

Je lijst met pakketbronnen (sources.list) is misvormd, om de een of andere reden.
Open met je favoriete tekstverwerker dat bestand en laat ons even lezen hoe dat er uitziet.
Dat kan o.a. op de volgende manier:

GNOME/Ubuntu:
ALT+F2 (Uitvoeren) en dan typen: gedit /etc/apt/sources.list en dan Enter of op OK klikken

KDE/Kubuntu:
ALT+F2 (Uitvoeren) en dan typen: kate /etc/apt/sources.list en dan Enter of op OK klikken

De eerste regel is half overschreven met een andere regel... aangezien je vanuit cd-rom waarschijnlijk toch niets installeert omdat alles via internet geïnstalleerd wordt, kan je beter gewoon een stukje van de eerste regel afknippen nu... dat doe je zo:

GNOME/Ubuntu:
ALT+F2 (uitvoeren) --> gksu gedit /etc/apt/sources.list --> Enter of op OK klikken

KDE/Kubuntu:
ALT+F2 (uitvoeren) --> kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list --> Enter of op OK klikken

(gksu of kdesu is nodig om systeemrechten te verkrijgen om het bestand aan te kunnen passen)

en dan haal je in de eerste lijn "deb cdrom:[Ubuntu 7.10 _Gutsy Gibbon_ - Release " weg, zodat dit blijft staan: "# Treviño’s Ubuntu feisty EyeCandy Repository (GPG key: 81836EBF - DD800CD9)"

Daarna op de opslaan-knop klikken van de teksteditor, en opnieuw Synaptic proberen. Het probleem zou opgelost moeten zijn.

Je moet dus niet kijken in het bestand /etc/apt/sources.list
Maar wel in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/seveas.list
