Ruis op geluid ...

Bij het afspelen van .avi filmpjes en bijvoorbeeld .ram audio streams hoor ik geluid en daartussen een beetje ruis. Een beetje te vergelijken met het geluid van een zeer oude plaat. Het afspelen van CDs is zuiver. Ik heb een Intel HD kaart en gebruik ALSA audio. ALSA gebruikt hiervoor de drivers uit de 2.6.13.3 kernel. Iemand een idee?

Ok, ik heb het opgelost ...
- gelezen: https://wiki.ubuntu.com//HdaIntelSoundHowto
- laatste dev releases gedownload van ALSA (1.0.10rc2)
- laatste 2.6.13.4 kernel gedownload en ALSA disabled (zie ook http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/alsa-guide.xml)
- kernel compilen en installen met make-kpkg
- ALSA compilen en installen
- vervolgens in /etc/modprobe.d/sound deze lijn toevoegen: options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 (zie ook http://jeriko.l-tech.org/2005/09/04/intel-hda-unter-debian-sarge-installieren/)

Misschien niet helemaal volgens de regels van de kunst, maar geluid is nu tenminste zuiver
