Waarom zouden ze de ondersteuning voor Conon camera's ineens laten vallen? Dat is toch raar?

Het blijkt dat de camera verdwijnt uit de lsusb als hij op standby gaat. Ik heb wel eerst de volgende commando's moeten geven:
sudo killall gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor
Met het progje 'Camera' dat in de repo's zit kan ik dan blijkbaar wel de foto's downloaden, mits ik snel genoeg ben. Niet echt ideaal, maar het werkt tenminste. Toch zou ik graag de foto's van te voren willen kunnen bekijken en selecteren. Dus het probleem is nog niet opgelost
M.a.w. de camera kan dus wel herkent worden, nu nog uitzoeken hoe ik hem gemount krijg zoals in oudere Ubuntu's.
