Volgens mij lig net niet alleen aan de kernel en/of nVidia driver.
Ik heb de 'Mainline Kernels ppa' geinstalleerd.
sudo apt-add-repository -y ppa:cappelikan/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt install mainline
Als men in het programma bij "Settings', de optie 'Show' deze op 1 zet.
Kan men kiezen alle kernels van de 6 serie en 5 serie.
En hiermee aan het spelen .....
Ook met de 5.15.158 serie en met de nVidia driver heb ik dit probleem.
Om de kernel-module nVidia ook te hebben met kernel 5.15.158, is het pakket
nvidia-dkms-470 ook nodig.
De 5.15.x serie was de standaard kernel van 22.04., hier mee was dit probleem er niet.
Met de nouveau driver is het stabiel en heb ik twee schermen.
Heb niet hoger getest dan met kernel 6.0.19 (ik heb de keuzen uit 830 kernels).
Om bij het opstarten de mogelijkheid te hebben om de kernel te kiezen ....
Is het handig dat men het 'GRUB menu' actief zet.
Pas het bestand '/etc/default/grub' aan, blauwe tekst, aan:
