Linksys
WUSB54G (Ver.4)
rt2500 / rt2570
supports network install= ?
supported in installed system =YES
Works out of the box = YES
Comments: Works fine with WEP on 6.06/Breezy when installed, but hung at activating using LiveCD; works on 7.04/Feisty w/ WEP with manual config and roaming other connections
1. Grab latest ndiswrapper from their site.
2. Untar, goto directory, "make distclean", "make", "sudo make install".
3. Grab latest driver from linksys.
4. Unzip, find the WUSB54Gv4 directory.
5. Run "ndiswrapper -v", make sure no errors
6. "ndiswrapper -i rt2500usb.inf", "sudo depmod -a", "sudo modprobe ndiswrapper"
7. "ndiswrapper -l" may show an alternative driver (rt2570)
8. ndiswrapper -m
9. Blacklist the driver by running "sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist" and adding "blacklist rt2570" to the end.
10. "sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper", change "wlan0" to "rausb1".
11. Reboot (prayer optional)
Maar nog steeds hetzelfde probleem
