Krijg tv kaart niet aan de praat

Hallo daar,

Zaterdag heb ik een TVkaart gekocht die ik niet aan de praat krijg. De gegevens van de kaart:

ik heb tvtime ook als root proberen op te starten maar dan gaat alleen de melding

weg maar blijft de fout

Ik heb nog nooit een TV-kaart geïnstalleerd (in linux) dus ik weet niet goed waar ik nou op moet zoeken, modprobe geeft wel een aantal drivers die zijn geïnstalleerd.  En lspci geeft 0000:01:08.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and Audio Decoder (rev 05) is dit de tv-tunner en is hij wel gevonden of is hij nou niet gevonden? Heeft iemand een idee?

Hij kwam precies op het goede moment, het werkt echter nog niet :-( ik krijg nog steeds fouten m.a.w. geen beeld.

Als root heb ik ook proberen tvtime op te starten helaas maakt dat niets uit. Ik heb vervolgens gekeken op de site van tvtime en wel hier:

en de zin:

schijnt aardig overeen te komen met mijn probleem. Nu heb ik geprobeerd de modules te unloaden en weer opnieuw te laden met de optie card=12 (dat de card nummer 12 vermoed ik omdat dat in de http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/AVerMedia_M150-D howto staat)maar dit wil echter niet werken ik krijg dan nl de volgende fout:

tevens heb ik het vermoeden dat ik een iets andere versie heb van de kaart aangezien er bij

zijn dmesg staat

Ik heb trouwens een kaart met composite aansluitingen en de wiki van mythtv niet.

Ik ben er achter gekomen dat de optie card niet bestaat bij de cx8800 module tenminste dat denk ik.

op alle howto's die ik echter heb doorgelezen staat echter dat de card option echter wel nodig is, heeft iemand een idee wat ik hier mee kan doen? Ik kan het zelf niet vinden na uren google...

Hoi,

Misschien kan je de kaart even uitproberen met andere software (ipv tvtime).

Kaffeine heeft uitstekende DVB ondersteuning en is beschikbaar via synaptic.
Ook VDR is geschikt voor DVB gebruik, meer bepaald voor TV-kaarten met hardwarematige mpeg2decoding. Ook beschikbaar via synaptic (maar moelijker om te configureren).

Zelf gebruik ik een Terratec Cinergy 1400.
Zelfde chipset als jouw kaart denk ik (cx88).
Deze Terratec werkt perfect samen met de Kaffeine software.
Kaartje insteken, werd onmiddellijk herkend, zenderscan doen en ..... alles werkt.
Bij mijn weten is dit de enige Linux mediaplayer die DVB plug 'n play ondersteund.

Nog een vraagje : wordt de kaart herkend door Ubuntu (Apparaatbeheer) ?

Hopelijk krijg je het kaartje gauw aan de praat !
