Citaat
starting up...
loading please wait...

If this is the case, or you find a message stating "try pci=assign-busses" in the dmesg log, append the following to the kernel boot line:

   pci=assign-busses

Additional information, and a proposed workaround can be found at bug #5557.

sudo apt-get install xresprobe  (you need to install this) forgotten bij ubuntu festy.

sudo xresprobe
sudo ddcprobe
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Halo Raggar,

Citaat
Starting up ...
You passed an undefined mode number.
Press to see video modes available, to continue or wat 30 secs

(dan heb ik gedrukt)

Video adapter: VESA VGA
Mode: COLSxROWS:
0  0F00  80x25
1  0F01  80x50
2  0F02  80x43
3  0F03  80x28
4  0F04  80x30
5  0F05  80x34
6  0F06  80x60

Enter mode number or 'scan':

Video adapter: VESA VGA
Mode: COLSxROWS:
0  0F00  80x25
1  0F01  80x50
2  0F02  80x43
3  0F03  80x28
4  0F04  80x30
5  0F05  80x34
6  0F06  80x60

Enter mode number or 'scan':

Misschien iemand anders?

OK, ik heb het gevonden:

Doe eens dit:
Toepassingen - Hulpmiddelen - Terminalvenster
tik in: dmesg > boot.messages

Daarna:
Locaties - Persoonlijke map
