In windows heb ik deze wel nog nodig, 2partition Dual boot

Het staat ongetwijfeld in je BIOS. Goed zoeken.
Als je het hebt gevonden, kun je het desnoods tijdelijk ff uitschakelen, en weer inschakelen wanneer je Windows wilt gaan gebruiken.

Waarom wil je het überhaupt gebruiken? Ik vind het ellendige zeikdingen, die touchpads. Kan er maar niet aan wennen.

Overigens: hoe je het in Linux moet uitzetten, weet ik helaas niet.

Het werkt goed onder windows maar NIET goed onder linux

Oh dat is niet waar.
Je kan je touchpad afzetten zodra je begint te typen, of gewoon compleet uitzetten in Linux Ubuntu.

Hier volgt hoe:

in de terminal typ je:
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

in het nieuwe venster zoek je naar "Touchpad". Bij mij noemde het "Touchpad Synaptic".
Daar ga je naar de onderste lijn en je typt erbij:
Option "SHMConfig" "on"

Nu moet je even snel Ubuntu herstarten. Doe dit met CTRL+ALT+Z, dit gaat sneller.

Nu ga je terug naar de terminal en je typt in:
synclient  TouchpadOff=1

Dit schakelt je touchpad uit tot je de computer herstart. Om hem compleet uit te schakelen kan je naar Systeem => Beheer => Sessies gaan en daar bij "Progamma's opstarten" het commando "synclient TouchpadOff=1" ingeven. Dan wordt het touchpad uitgeschakeld elke keer jij Ubuntu binnengaat.
Dat vond ik de meest gebruiksvriendelijke manier :)

in windows kan dat zeker, door de hardware in windows uit te schakelen, plus onder windows kan ik ook knopje gebruiken om hem uit te schakelen die onder linux helaas nog niet hebben kunnen vinden om hem aan de praat te krijgen(het knopje dan)
