I've just installed a version of Ubuntu server 7.10 and configured my HP psc 1315 printer. The driver I userd was the HPLIP.

From the Ubuntu server I can print without a problem. Alse the printer management is ok.

But when I share the printer and I want to use him from one of my XP workstations, in XP I get the message that the driver on the server is not of the correct version.

Can anyone give me a solution on that ?

Install the windows driver on the windows computer, the printer should work with no problems at all! (why in English?)

Heel hard bedankt. Ik ben pas nieuw op dit forum en zag het één en ander in het Engels...daarom. Maar vanaf nu...Nederlands dus :-)
