Dit heb ik op engelstalig forum gevonden:
One quick solution is to access the share with nautilus (going to Network or manually entering smb://...). After the share is accessed recent versions of ubuntu automatically mount the file share in the directory ~/.gvfs. This is a regular file system directory that can be soft-linked using ln -s.
Het mounten gebeurt inderdaad automatisch, ik zou trouwens niet weten hoe het manueel doen.
dan het volgende in terminal ingegeven: ln -s backuplink /home/rob/.gvfs
De backuplink-map staat op het bureaublad en wanneer ik erop klik zie ik inderdaad daaronder de mappen van de NAS-schijf.
Echter wanneer ik dan de doelmap wil kiezen in 'simple backup config', dan is de symbolische link "backuplink" enkel licht grijs zichtbaar :-(
