hoe beryl opstarten

Ik heb beryl geinstalleerd in ubuntu 7.04 beta. Hoe in hemelsnaam moet ik beryl gebruiken.
en hoe weet ik of alles goed is geinstalleerd ivm de grafische kaart.

Heb alles gedaan wat er staat, er staat zelfs een beryl diamant in mijn taakbalk.
hoe moet ik die kubus laten verschijnen.

ctrl alt  met muisknop(scrollwiel)
nadat je de berylmanager hebt opgestart: omgeving: beryl.

Als ik venster beheerder beryl kies flikkert mijn scherm een keer of twee en dan springt het terug op gnome.

hmmz patrom, heb hetzelfde probleem...wanneer ik " start terugval venster beheerder als beryl chrast" uitzet kan ik m wel kiezen maar doe tie nix meer

Of heb  je meerdere monitoren en videokaarten op je computer?

neen, ik heb maar 1 monitor en mijn grafische kaart is een radeon A9550 met 128Mb ram.
wat is er teveel in de xorg.conf file.

Voer anders het volgende eens uit:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

heb ik juist gedaan hier de nieuwe xorg.conf file, heb nog altijd diezelfde fout.

Stonden deze regels ergens in een how-to?
Zo niet, weghalen.

Driver        "fglrx" --> Dit moet dus Driver "ati" zijn.

Even opnieuw starten en daarna beryl-manager uitvoeren.

je hebt de fglrx drivers nog
probeer die uit te zetten en open source te gebruiken

heb juist gedaan wat er gevraagd is, de fout is verdwenen maar hoe moet ik de kubus op het scherm verschijnen.
mat ctrl-alt muiswieltje werkt niet.

Heb je nu van die wiebelende vensters als je ze sleept?

muiswiel indrukken en dan slepen? lukt dat ?
anders ctrl + alt en slepen
of gewoon de werkbladen aanklikken

bij kies vensterbeheer als ik beryl aanklik springt het nadien altijd terug op metacity
en de ctrl - alt en muiswiel doet niks
