Iemand ervaring met nvclock?

Hallo,
Ik was net bezig met nvclock, maar snap niet helemaal hoe het programma werkt en hoe het overklokken werkt.
Iemand meer ervaring met nvclock?

elke keer een beetje hoger zetten en een paar dagen wachten of alles nog stabiel werkt

als je crashes ervaart terug een paar puntjes lager zetten

extra koeling op de grafische controller zorgt ervoor dat je het nog hoger kunt zetten dan normaal

Tip: nvclock is het command line programma maar er is ook een GTK versie bij inbegrepen: typ nvclock_gtk in de terminal en dan kan je CPU en Memory een beetje overklokken

Ik hoef je vast niet te vertellen dat dit extreem gevaarlijk kan zijn en je hardware (en garantie) kan vernielen als je niet oppast?

Eh? Je wil je cpu overklokken? Bedoel je niet je gpu of grafische kaart?

Verder zou het best kunnen dat het programma wat je nu probeert gewoon te oud is of alleen werkt met de open source drivers. Als je de restricted drivers gebruikt kan je gewoon via nvidia-settings overclocken.

In eerdere versies moest je wel je xorg.conf aanpassen voordat dat kon. Dat zal nu nog steeds wel moeten denk ik zo.

Open /etc/X11/xorg.conf en plaats deze regel in het "Device" gedeelte:
