Adaptec drivers installeren luk niet

Installing on Debian or Ubuntu Linux
Note: You must have root privileges to install the driver image. For Debian, the Linux su
command is sufficient. For Ubuntu, you may need to create the root account and password.
Enter these commands: sudo bash; sudo passwd root. You will be prompted to enter the root
password twice.
To install the driver on Debian or Ubuntu Linux:

Insert and mount the RAID Controller Installation DVD:
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom

Change to the Linux driver directory:
cd /mnt/cdrom/linux/driver

Install the .deb driver package:
dpkg -i aacraid-1.1.7-27900-Debian_5.0.6+Ubuntu_10.04-all.deb
4 Reboot your computer to ensure the driver loaded correctly.
5 Continue with Managing Your Storage Space on page 70.


Het boven staande geprobeerd lukt dus niet kan niet eens op de cdrom komen (via Terminal)
laat staan deze drivers installeren  iemand die mij kan helpen??

Heb je wel :

sudo mkdir /mnt/cdrom

gedaan voor je

sudo mount /dev/cdrom   /mnt/cdrom

deed?

En weet je wel zeker dat op jouw systeem /dev/cdrom je CD/DVD is?
(soms is het /dev/sr0 of iets anders)
