Zou wel mogelijk zijn met Julius, maar dan moet je ten eerste een heleboel trainen en daarnaast gaat de nauwkeurigheid best wel achteruit. Daarnaast zijn er bijna geen open source akoestische modellen van andere talen dan Engels beschikbaar. Zou wel leuk zijn als ze naast dit ook een optie hadden om spraak te herkennen inderdaad en dan het akoestisch model van http://voxforge.org pakken.

I am the developer behind simon and want to sincerely appologize for the inconvenience that my package caused to your installation.

It seems like there is something wrong with the dependency handling of the package as kbuildsycoca4 is not installed your system (it should be when the dependencies are fulfilled).

Btw, Hardy Heron is not supported (the program versions are just too old) but Intrepid Ibex is.

I will set up a clean Ubuntu 8.10 installation tomorrow and try again. If it is ok with you and the moderation of the forum I will edit this post with updates.

Thanks for testing and once again I am really sorry for all the problems the package caused.

Gedownload, geïnstalleerd de deb, opgestart, nu wil ik Simon instellen, krijg ik alleen een grijs scherm met wat knoppen die niet reageren. Iemand een oplossing?

That's alright.

kbuildsycoca4 was installed :S But never mind, I use 8.10 now
But I don't think I will use Simon again till' it's out of beta, since the beta caused me so much trouble.

We zitten nu bij 0.2 bèta 3, maar ik wacht nog steeds tot ie uit bèta komt, gezien de problemen die ik ermee heb gehad.

Inmiddels is de eerste release candidate uit.
Het installeert nu wel goed. Er is op het eerste gezicht niet heel veel veranderd behalve dat er een aantal bugs zijn opgelost en er documentatie online staat. Daarnaast is het nu in samenwerking met het ministerie van verkeer innovatie en technologie van Duitsland.
